Carbide Tips

Tungsten Carbide is the hardest material used for pick-up tools.

An alternative for some tool types with similar hardness would be Ceramic Tip and then Hardened Steel and Stainless Steel complete the selection of tool in this category.

IP, IPIR, IPNC, IPCR Die Collets

Also called "Die Collet" those inner inverted pyramid tools are holding the die on 4 edges. A few options are offered but IPIR & IPNC are the most common types.

CH Die Collet

The Channel type Die Collet will make contact only with two die edges.

Carbide CT

The carbide CT tool can be made in one piece construction or assembled with a steel holder. This material allows to reduce the face and hole size beyond the capability of plastics and rubbers.

Carbide RT

The carbide RT tool can be made in one piece construction or assembled with a steel holder. This material is also a good thermal conductor.

Carbide PL

The Tungsten Carbide PL tool will prevent contact to the center area of the die. Only a thin wall size will hold the die at its periphery.
